About Rée LeBlanc Gunter, Ph.D.

Dr. Rée LeBlanc Gunter is a clinical psychologist licensed in the state of Connecticut. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hampton University and her Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University.

Dr. Gunter has worked in mental health outpatient settings, private practice, university counseling centers, and non-profit organizations, supporting individuals and communities across diverse environments. She currently serves as the director of a university counseling center and brings more than a decade of clinical, administrative and wellness-focused programming to the university community.

For more than 20 years, Dr. Gunter has designed and facilitated general wellness and faith-based wellness workshops for non-profit organizations, churches, and conferences. General wellness workshops support individuals and organizations in strengthening emotional health, reducing stress, and building practical skills for everyday well-being. Her approach is culturally responsive, honoring the diverse experiences of participants while providing tools that promote clarity, resilience, and balance in personal and professional settings.

The faith-based wellness workshops integrate psychological best practices with spiritual perspective. Dr. Gunter’s approach is culturally responsive, honoring the identities and lived experiences of the participants and their communities. These workshops support participants and their communities in cultivating clarity and balance individually, and collectively to navigate life’s challenges with emotional steadiness, renewed strength, and deeper sense of spiritual alignment.
